Another Christmas
Snow flakes gingerbread and mistletoe hang
Twinkling lights and the carolers sing
Christmas Trees they shine so bright
In the still of the night till Santa arrives
Can you remember the magic Chrostmas would bring
Before the bills and all those grown up things
When Jolly Santa Clause was real as could be
And his rain deer flew and their sleigh bells rang
When you’d wait all night just to catch glimpse
Of the jolly fat man setting out your gifts
When elves made toys for all the girls and boys
And a Gingerbread house could bring some joy
Before this time of shopping sprees
And spending money on material things
When your biggest worry on Christmas Eve
Was if Santa would find his milk and cookies
A magical time that seems to be gone
And a new generation whose meaning is wrong
But think of moment before all that
When you’d dress a snowman in a top hat
Snow flakes gingerbread and mistletoe hang
Twinkling lights and the carolers sing
Christmas Trees they shining so bright
In the still of the night till Santa arrives
